FIREFLY SETTLES IN AS THE EAST COAST’S PREMIER MUSIC EXPERIENCE
Firefly set to return to The Woodlands June 20-22, 2014 after attendance surpasses 65,000
DOVER, DE (June 24) – Firefly Music Festival wrapped up a successful sophomore year by selling out with more than 65,000 attendees. Adding to the excitement, Firefly will return to The Woodlands of Dover International Speedway on June 20-22, 2014.
With the success of 2013, Red Frog Events (the company behind Firefly Music Festival) and Dover International Speedway reached a ten-year agreement granting Red Frog Events exclusive rights to The Woodlands as a music venue.
“Firefly fans showed great enthusiasm this past weekend and we’re pleased to announce our return to The Woodlands in 2014,” says Firefly Music Festival Director Greg Bostrom. “We’re also thrilled to continue our relationship with our friends at Dover International Speedway and the rest of the Delaware community for many years to come.”
The 2014 acts are to be determined, but on Wednesday, June 26 at 9am ET a limited quantity of pre-sale tickets for the 2014 festival will go on sale through FireflyFestival.com. Only three-day, general admission tickets will be on sale at the price of $198 (plus applicable fees).
