FIREFLY MUSIC FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES 2014 LINEUP WITH MORE THAN 100 ARTISTS
Foo Fighters, Outkast, and Jack Johnson Headline the East Coast’s Largest Music Festival
DOVER, DE (Jan. 14) – Firefly Music Festival is returning to The Woodlands at Dover International Speedway for the third year on June 19-22. Along with headliners Foo Fighters, Outkast, and Jack Johnson, the lineup also includes Beck, Arctic Monkeys, The Lumineers, Pretty Lights, Weezer, Imagine Dragons, Band of Horses, Young the Giant, Childish Gambino, Tegan and Sara, Girl Talk, Cage the Elephant, Portugal. the Man, Grouplove, Local Natives, Ziggy Marley, Iron and Wine, Sleigh Bells, Amos Lee, Jake Bugg, Third Eye Blind, Twenty-One Pilots, and more than 80 additional acts performing across seven stages. “The addition of a fourth day, along with the expansion of our festival acreage and lineup, makes this the most exciting Firefly yet. These changes reflect our commitment to providing our fans the premier experience they expect from us not only this year, but in the years to come,” says Firefly Music Festival Director Greg Bostrom.
Festivalgoers can expect to see the return of favorite attractions such as the Dogfish Head Brewery, The Arcade, The Coffee House, and Hammock Hangout with the addition of several attractions to be announced prior to the festival.
Firefly is partnering with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for the third year through their Music Gives to St. Jude Kids program. Festival attendees can support the lifesaving work of St. Jude on-site and leading up to the event through a variety of digital, mobile and live donation opportunities. Donations from Firefly fans will go towards Red Frog Events’ $25 million commitment to the St. Jude Red Frog Events Proton Therapy Center, opening in 2015 on St. Jude’s campus in Memphis.
