Complimentary viewing of the first episode of “Roadies” to take place in campgrounds of the east coast’s largest music festival
DOVER, DE (June 15, 2016) – Firefly Music Festival announced a partnership with SHOWTIME to air the first episode of their new music series “Roadies” on Wednesday, June 15 at 7pm during the festival’s pre-party. The first public viewing of the series will provide complimentary popcorn and soft drinks and will be available forWednesday premier camping pass holders. “Roadies,” Oscar winner Cameron Crowe’s first original series, debuts on SHOWTIME on June 26 at 10pm ET.
In addition to the episode viewing, SHOWTIME will provide free lockers within the festival for attendees. They’ll also be giving away VIP upgrades throughout festival weekend through a variety of contests.

ROADIES is a one-hour comedy featuring an ensemble cast headed by Luke Wilson (Old School, Enlightened) and Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Carla Gugino (San Andreas). The series gives an insider’s look at the reckless, romantic, funny and often poignant lives of a committed group of roadies who live for music and the de facto family they’ve formed along the way. ROADIES chronicles the rock world through the eyes of music’s unsung heroes and pays homage to the backstage workers who put the show on the road while touring for the successful arena-level group, The Staton-House Band. The ensemble cast of ROADIES also includes s eries stars Imogen Poots (The Look of Love), Rafe Spall (One Day), Academy Award® nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes (Whale Rider), Peter Cambor (NCIS: Los Angeles), Colson Baker a.k.a. Machine Gun Kelly (Beyond the Lights) and Ron White (Blue Collar Comedy Tour).
